Study with Aadil Palkhivala, Purna Yoga co-founder:

Live Yoga Now.  A nice blog by my fellow Purna Yoga teacher Letitia Walker.  She gives out some great home practice sequences!

Fire of Love, Aadil Palkhivala.  For students of life; everyone should have a copy!

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Swami Satchidananda.  A practical, relatable translation and commentary.

My Guru and His Disciple, Christopher Isherwood.  Widely considered one of the best writers of the 20th century, Isherwood's third instalment of his autobiography details his study of vedanta while working as a Hollywood screenwriter in the years before WWII.  Spiritual aspiration in the land of debauchery while the world teeters on the edge of chaos, all honestly observed.  I also enjoyed his biography of Ramakrishna, and his translation of the Bhagavad Gita (with Swami Prahbavananda).

Candle Cafe Cookbook.  Some delicious recipes from the famed vegan restaurant in New York.

The Gourmet Cookbook.  Bills itself as the only cookbook you will ever need, and it is my go-to staple.  Just ask anyone who's been to dinner at my place.

As It Is in Heaven.  Sweden's entry to the Oscar race in 2005.  "Every since I was a little boy, I have had a dream:  to create music that opens peoples' hearts."  Will he be able to do it?

About Time.  Time travel sounds pretty cheesy, but this movie is very well done and offers some great life lessons.

The David Suzuki Foundation.  Environmental news and green-living tips from Canada's national treasure.

Enjo cleaning products.  Amazing clean without chemicals, and also incredible timesavers.  Costs more than store brands, and worth it.

Cowspiracy.  Not my favorite movie title, but a compelling argument about the nonsustainability of our reliance on meat and dairy.

Zenia.  Making uplifting music right in her own bedroom.  Pretty cool.

Peter Jack Rainbird.  "Unravel:  The Extended Suites" is one of my favorite chillouts.

Julianna Barwick.  Ditto "The Magic Place" and "Pacing."  (Though all her stuff is pretty amazing.)

More resources coming soon!
